Goals and Objectives

To provide exceptional experiences and memories for members, guests, and prospects during their visits.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide a dining experience consistent with the standards of the club in all areas of member service.
  • Ability to execute unique craft cocktails.
  • Greet all members and guests politely and promptly, seat them, explain menu as needed as well as daily specials and beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar/bar storage and other work areas at all times.
  • Follow recipes for cocktails, syrups, and all house-made ingredients.
  • Laws and regulations are to be adhered to at all times; including but not limited to pour ratio.
  • Entering all transactions accordingly into POS system, and charging members accounts accurately.
  • Education yourself with extensive knowledge of all beverages and ingredients.
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to members needs during all interactions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wine and serving techniques.
  • Knowledge of food/wine pairing recommendations.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates respect for and appreciation of Hawaiian values, history and culture, understanding its implication in one's work, in fostering meaningful relationships, and in embracing the community served.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Minimum of 2 year experience as a waiter or bartender in a full service restaurant.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proof of a negative TB test.
  • Valid state of Hawaii liquor card.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
